This branch allows members to experience various sectors of the profession from registering major school sports events to writing articles and interviewing players. Under the journalism branch, members collect content for the club's social media during Graded Junior Varsity and Varsity games. By interviewing Graded players and photographing during the games, members learn and practice preparing these materials to post on GSE's and the Graded Athletics Instagram accounts. Through these activities, members interested in the journalistic part of the sports business can experience a taste of what it entails to be a journalist and to better discern which branch they would prefer to work in. At the end of each semester, two participants are elected to head this branch the following term. The fellow members choose the next elected heads by voting. The elected members manage the social media pages and deal with problems regarding the club’s social media platforms.
